And if you could tell me how you use it (eg what type of ice packs, how long to use it for etc) that would be great!
I used to use a heating pad but they kept on breaking on me
I just recently started school again, and I can't take my normal heating pad to class with me to plug into the wall, because that would cause a scene that I don't want to make. I have heard of portable heating pads, ones that run on a power bank and hold an 8 hour charge. It fits under your clothes so nobody knows you're wearing it..... but I can't seem to find one. Does anybody have any ideas?
I believe in rice bags an cornie bags. I found all mine at arts an craft fairs, just need access to a microwave.
I’ve tried ice packs but I wasn’t sure if this was a normal/common endo symptom
yes I totally do! usually my skin just gets really tender to the touch anyway but it is especially sensitive vaginally
I had my first laparoscopy (ablation) on Friday, and I am still very tired. I do have three kids, so I only rested for two days before getting back into mom mode, so I’m sure that’s not helping!
I took two weeks off from work. When I returned to work, I wore out fast. I even used the elevator because it was less energy. I'd say it was probably three months before I would consider myself back… read more
My doctor put on my form that I only need to take one day off for the surgery and then the next day from work. Does that seem right?? I was doing pretty well after surgery, walking, eating etc, but you can’t lift anything and have to limit what you do. I would definitely take more than a day but every person is different. I had a… read more
Oh nice. Are you also bloated?
I usually take advil or use a heating pad but wondering what works for everyone to get ideas of other things to try
Thank you all for the ideas I’ve changed my diet and exercise which helped in the beginning but lately it’s gotten worse so I’ll definitely try these
I have stage 3 endo and been using a dienogest pill for about 8 months but I’m hating the side effects and am considering getting an IUD put in?
For me the IUD was a tough transition, lots of pain in the first few months but then I had relief for almost two years!
Hey Endo Tribe, I’m planning to attend an endo event in March and along with the portable heating pads I was considering: 1. Belly butter2. Calming body scrub let me know your thoughts? Both will be made with all natural ingredients ☺️
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Thank you, I’m so excited and honored to give back 💛
It's tedious but my favorite is putting rice in a sock and putting it in the microwave, gets hotter than any heating pad I've ever had
