Hi Girlies! Does Anyone Have Experience With Endo Inside Their Bladder?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Iā€™ve recently been diagnosed with endo through a cystoscopy. Iā€™ve been living with UTI like symptoms since 2019. Does anyone else have experience with it being inside the bladder? I was told I had ā€˜painful bladder syndromeā€™ and my urologist completely ignored the possibility of it being anything else. I packed my suitcase in March and went to Latvia where I was hospitalised and had a bladder biopsy which confirmed endometriosis. I didnā€™t even know what endometriosis was before the diagnosis, soā€¦ read more

Constant Pain; Is It Normal?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

So I am 16 years old and have always had very very painful periods and some irregular bleeding. Usually it was cyclical, but definitely a lot before my period too. For the past 75+ days it has just been constant severe pain that wonā€™t go away. Iā€™m going to get a laparoscopy soon so I am hoping that helps if it is endometriosis. All my doctors suspect it is, and on my MRI there was questionable thickening of my bilateral uterosacral ligaments. Has anyone else experienced just the constant painā€¦ read more

How To Speed Up The Diagnosis Process?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Hi everyone! When I first got my period at 10 years old (10 years ago now), I had extreme pain and so went to my gynaecologist who suggested that it may be endometriosis, but due to how young I was decided against doing a laparoscopy. Over the years I have tried 3 different types of birth controls, many different pain killers, anti inflammatories, etc., and I recently had an IUD put in. The pain has gotten worse over the years (and started to include massive back cramps, leg pain, etc.) and I amā€¦ read more

Is A Laparoscopy Surgery Worth It?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

After reading a lot of peopleā€™s stories on here, Iā€™m starting to doubt getting the surgery from seeing so many women having more problems after surgery than before. I really want to be able to have a baby and I do have ā€œsimpleā€ and ā€œcomplexā€ ovarian cyst that go up and down in size also they said I have ā€œendometriomasā€ on my ovaries through MRI at my first hospital stay last November. Im not sure if those are the ones that grew into the complex cyst I have now? Iā€™m so confused now with all myā€¦ read more

Does My Symptoms Sound Like Endometriosis ?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Itā€™s day 1 of my period and I am in absolute agony. I have a pain in my left side and left knee which just wonā€™t subside even with medication. I have very heavy bleeding/clots and have felt severely nauseous all day. I look and feel absolutely crap. Been referred to hospital and they have offered to burn off the lining of my womb but that wonā€™t be until another few months. My question is do you think what I am experiencing is endometriosis? And also any suggestions on what I can do to ease theā€¦ read more

If Youā€™ve Had Laparoscopic Surgery, How Long Was Your Recovery?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I had my first laparoscopy (ablation) on Friday, and I am still very tired. I do have three kids, so I only rested for two days before getting back into mom mode, so Iā€™m sure thatā€™s not helping!

Other Issues Related Or Not To Endometriosis
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Hi all, hopefully I can make sense of my question here as I am trying to gather info to figure out what's going on with me. There's a six year old similar post but hopefully I can get a few more answers. I don't have an official diagnosis, last gynae was like "yeh, it might be endo, here, get the coil fitted, also you are fat, good day", so I don't even know if it is what I think it is
So basically I would like to know if people with a diagnosis have any of the following issues along with theā€¦ read more

How Long Before Laparoscopy?

How long were you on meds before your doctor decided to do a laparoscopy? My gyn wants to put me on orlissa or bc for 6months to a year before doing a laparoscopy? Do you find that to be typical?
