Good luck for your surgery
I have experienced for 4 yrs..leg pain..rectum, back and lower left abdomen pain as well as bloating and sometimes constipation..sometimes nausea and diarrhea. All this with heavy cycles. The cysts I had 2 yrs ago they say aren't seen now on ovaries. They said I have an enlarged uterus and the only way to see anything is with laparoscopy. What should I do?

I've been having lower chest pains on and off for about 4 months now. I went to the errand when they first started. I got a chest x ray and ekg done but neither showed anything, they said that they believed the pains where chest wall pain caused by inflammation between my ribs due to a ongoing cold I had at the time. They told he to take a week off work and gave me an anti inflammatory. The pain seemed to be better for a couple weeks but then it returned and has been on and off ever since. It's… read more

I am 4 months post op next week. I was wondering for anyone who’s undergone laparoscopy when does the swelling and pains go away? My lower belly is still swollen and tender to touch. My incision scars still hurt and I feel like my recovery is taking a very very long time. I feel like I can’t recognize my body anymore and it’s taken a toll mentally. I wonder if anyone else recovery taken this long and does anyone know when it starts to go back to normal?

I was supposedly diagnosed with endometriosis last week after suffering from painful pelvic pain, painful intercourse, and problems with my bowels amongst other issues. There was no mention of a laparoscopy but to just go on birth control. I am not a fan of both control and want to be certain that it is endometriosis. I want to push for a laparoscopy. Anyone have advice on this? Thanks!
My doc said I could try bc pills to see if it would help but since I want to try having kids in the next year or so , that after my MRI , surgery will prob be the way to go
After reading a lot of people’s stories on here, I’m starting to doubt getting the surgery from seeing so many women having more problems after surgery than before. I really want to be able to have a baby and I do have “simple” and “complex” ovarian cyst that go up and down in size also they said I have “endometriomas” on my ovaries through MRI at my first hospital stay last November. Im not sure if those are the ones that grew into the complex cyst I have now? I’m so confused now with all my… read more
