How long were you on meds before your doctor decided to do a laparoscopy? My gyn wants to put me on orlissa or bc for 6months to a year before doing a laparoscopy? Do you find that to be typical?

I take morphine, buscpan and paracetamol which still doesn't help with the pain but they can't put me on anything stronger
I usually have to go to the hospital once a month or more because the pain get so out of control, I take the pain meds im supposed to and try my heating pad and rest but usually nothing works. Does anyone have anything that seems to get the pain down to a tolerable level?
What pain medication have you found to be helpful
Tramadol if they will prescribe it. I ended up getting a prescription when I had to go to the ER for my pain :/

Has any treatment or pain relief helped anyone I've had 3 operations, been on injection twice, had mirena coil in and been on the pill numerous amount of times nothing seems to help. I'm on morphine, buscpan and paracetamol nothing seems to help :(

Im still awaiting to have my diagnostic surgery and am wondering what everyone’s symptoms were prior to diagnosis, as well as tips and tricks for surgery day as I’m absolutely nervous for the day to come because I’m terrible with needles and the thought of surgery! I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers with horrible ovulation? It's literally the most painful time I have, I've just spent the night in hospital for pain relief
I have also found the only thing that cuts through the pain is painkillers - a concoction of sorts..
