Have you ever tried pelvic floor physical therapy to help manage your endo symptoms? If so, can you please share your experience? I never heard about pelvic floor physical therapy as a treatment option for endo until I joined this wonderful and helpful community, so I am interested to see if it helped. Thank you.

Hip & leg pains
Mrs. EmmaJackson2 I'm glad someone understands. I've been explaining to my ob about it and she make me feel like she's not hearing me about the pain. She's had a x-ray taken. And everything came back… read more
Has anyone ever experienced upper back/shoulder and neck pain with their endo? I usually have low back and pelvic pain, but I’ve gotten to the point now where my shoulders, upper back, and neck hurt so bad. I’ve tried deep massage, chiropractor, heating pads, etc. I also hurt and ache so bad I can’t sleep due to not being able to get comfortable.. I’ve tried so many diff pillows, body pillow- but it’s like my neck and back feel constantly being strained or not supported ðŸ˜
I have the same issue. Just like the other girl said, its not from endo but more from our bodies response to the pain. I did pelvic floor physical therapy for a few months and the phyaical therapist… read more
If you aren't embarrassed by my question I'd appreciate knowing if anyone else has the same experience. I have issues with having sex, the majority of the time it makes me feel sick in my stomach, I luckily have a very understanding bf. Sometimes when I feel that internal sex will be to much we go for the external pleasure (clitoris). But even this causes pain sometimes. Does this happen to anyone else? My doctors are very coy with giving me answers to anything.
Laparoscopy is the answer if excision is used to remove Endo. Most who get a laparoscopy are getting ablation where the Endo is simply burned but not removed, causing more pain and scarring. Endo… read more
I can count on one hand the times that me and my boyfriend have had sex in the last year- sad I know
I just had excision surgery back in May and of course I'm terrified of getting back on the horse... seemed like an appropriate analogy. We have tried once since my surgery after waiting long enough and it still hurt but at the time I wasn't on any type of birth control so we had to use a condom and my fun parts have never agreed with most types. I'm thinking that was the main problem (more like… read more
Sorry to hear about your situation with your partner. My ex-husband is understanding of my condition and he is still supportive even though we didn't have sex. I believe education for men and eveyone… read more
Has anyone seen an improvement in bladder symptoms from physical therapy? I was recently diagnosed with pelvic floor disorder and PT was recommended.
I was seen for an assessment and a lot of the things we went over was stuff I could do in yoga...
Any one been to see Dr Jillian Main in San Jose? Did you like her? Was she skilled and helpful? Thank you
Amazing she is the reason I was able to get pregnant and have a baby after 12 years of trying
I had a presacral neurectomy in July of this year and I am scared it didn’t work or she didn’t do it right. I still have immense pain during sex and pain every single day and i’m stuck with the negative side effects afterwards. I just wanna know if anyone else has had this surgery and what their experience was like afterwards. I’m stuck in physical therapy now because it didn’t work…
Has anyone had good results with visceral manipulation? I've already had two treatments but haven't seen a change yet.
I see a chiropractor who incorporates massage. On the fence still if it helps.
I got my laproscopy surgery done for stage 4 endometriosis almost 2 years back but ever since then my lower abdomen has become very weak. Minimum activity also gives pain in lower abdomen, I am unable to have sex or even masturbate. I am unable to stand for even 10 minutes. My lower abdomen feels weak and it pains after that. Is there anyone else who has gone through the same thing? Please let me know if something helped you.
Thanks a ton @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member! :)
