I had a presacral neurectomy in July of this year and I am scared it didn’t work or she didn’t do it right. I still have immense pain during sex and pain every single day and i’m stuck with the negative side effects afterwards. I just wanna know if anyone else has had this surgery and what their experience was like afterwards. I’m stuck in physical therapy now because it didn’t work…
Hey ladies,
How did your surgeon treat your adenomyosis?
Risk of PSN
Dr. Wants to try lupron. It's super expensive so why don't I just get a hysterectomy and get it all over with.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Will do sis💛💛💛. Thank you.
how hard was it to get a hysterectomy? What was the outcome?
That's a big question. It depends on why you're getting the hysterectomy. It's important to know first off that a hysterectomy doesn't cure endo. Neither does removing ovaries cure endo. I wish it… read more
Looking for feedback from people in my age bracket (35-40) who have had a full hysterectomy. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis. I've been trying to put it off but am thinking it is my best option for a normal life.
I was 32
My question being, has anyone had one, how was it for you and what was your recovery like? I'm coming up 22 already had 2 surgeries for Endo, I'm stuck with what my next move is.
Yea well even that would be amazing right now!
Will diet help stage 4 endo as I really do not want the hysterectomy and as I can't have hormones I've been told that it's my only real option, I'm 36.

The new gynecologists office was mentioning radio frequency ablation. I'm curious as to if anyone has tried it, if it helped, made things worse, what your experience in general was like. Would you recommend it? Thanks!

I am considering yet another laparoscopic surgery (the pain is terrible which has extended to my rectum) and I am stuck in between Dr Camran Nezhat and Dr. Cook. Dr Camran Nezhat has been doing my surgery for the last give or take 8 years but I feel I could truly be better than I feel afterwards as the pains still remain but not as delibating as there were before (That reoccurs about a year after the surgery). He diagnosed me with endo stage 4, adenomyosis, fibroid and cyst.
Thank you

Question #1: Were you able to find an endo specialist? If so, where? I live in upstate NY.
Question #2: Where can I go if all I have is HMO coverage? Have any of you with this insurance had any luck finding providers?
I have exhausted so many options over this past year trying to find a specialist STILL working in NYS! I have even followed the doctor map from the endometriosis forum on reddit. All the doctors I call covered by my insurance are either about to leave the state or left already! I… read more
