Can Anyone Provide Some Insight About Mirena IUD?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I think that the Depoprovera is ravaging my body. Bone pain and erosion was stated as a side effect. I was told take calcium and I will be fine. I am diligent in taking my calcium supplements yet and still my bones feel sore and painful especially in my feet when I walk. The pressure makes me feel like the bones in my feet are breaking. On top of that, my emotions are all over the place in the worst way possible. So now my doctor wants to switch me to mirena iud. Honestly, I dont know if Iā€¦ read more

Does Tramadol Make Your Pain Worse After It Wears Off?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Does anyone else take Tramadol for your pain? That is what I have until my surgery. Although it seems like every time I take it the next few days my pain comes back worse then it was when I initially took the Tramadol. It has happened to me multiple times now. Does this happen to anyone else?

Anyone Have To Be On Painkillers For Extensive Periods Of Time?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I have been taking vicodin pretty regularly since November of 2016, prescribed by my doctor of course. She warned me about depends and addiction but when it comes to being in horrible deep pain everyday that nothing else touches it seemed completely worth the risk. Specailly since i have been dealing with the constant pain for years. Just to not have to be in pain or at least less pain for a little while. Specially when IT comes to the monthly "episodes" that makes me feel like I am dieing andā€¦ read more

Stage 1 Endo And Birth Control
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I was diagnosed with endo about a year ago, had a lap and had minimal endo tissue removed. Since then Iā€™ve been on loloestrin continuously but my pain has not changed. I get terrible lower left side pelvic pain (usually later in the day) which also makes my stomach puff up and I look pregnant. It also radiates to my back. The pain is so bad sometimes I have to take Vicodin (which I donā€™t like taking) and it still doesnā€™t go away. Usually only goes away after a nights sleep. I also have crampingā€¦ read more

Does Anyone Find It Hard To Think And Speak When You're In Pain?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I've had intense pain since the start, but I was used to having really intense fare ups that would last for a day or two and then I would recover. As I've gotten older I've noticed that I'll have a constant level of lesser pain everyday but it'll go on for weeks and I won't be able to think. It's like all my brain can do to tell me you're in pain, you're in pain, you're exhausted, go home; but I won't be able to think about much else. I'm really strict with when I take my heavy hitters (Percocetā€¦ read more

Well pain causes fatigue, fatigue causes brain fog. It's a vicious cycle. You're in pain so you don't sleep, you wake up tired so you can't think straight. You're exhausted all day and all you want toā€¦ read more

Endometriosis Pain Vs. Pregnancy Pain
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I have always been very curious to know the difference between endometriosis pain and pregnancy pain. After I heal from my surgery on Thursday I will be trying to get pregnant. I would like to know what to expect when it comes to labor pain. It may sound weird but I feel like once I go though labor I can more accurately describe my pain level to people. I can say that it feels like someone is stabbing my right ovary with a dull red hot icepick but I have never actually been stabbed so, I do notā€¦ read more
