I haven't had laparoscopy yet but my doctor is putting me on Orilissa, claiming she needs to shut everything down before she can do the surgery. I am worried about the side effects but she is also putting me on Duavee which is for treating symptoms of menopause. Has anyone else found Duavee helpful during the basically induced menopause from Orilissa? (other info- I am 23 and have never undergone any endo treatment besides hormonal BC when I was a teenager)
I have been taking Pregabalin (lyrica) for 3 days now my pain has intensified it’s herrendous should this happen ?? I also can’t sleep and these are the things it should be helping with .. should I keep taking it ??? Has anybody else experienced this ?? Xxxx
I'm new here and still waiting for my official diagnosis although my GP is sure it's endo. I have been researching for a few years since a friend mentioned endo to me. The problem is I have so many aches and pains in that general area that I just don't know what is related and what isn't!
I've suffered with what I now realise is endo for 15-20yrs and I've had a constant pain in my left hip for about 3yrs, getting progressively worse over time. It hurts when I get up in the morning,… read more
Had surgery on Monday. I had already been diagnosed with endo so we thought that's what would be found this time.. i had zero endo but had extensive adhesions due to scar tissue. They involved my intestines, my left kidney, and my left ovary.
I felt good in the days following surgery but as the week has gone on i feel worse and worse. I've had alot of nausea off and on, a headache, some weird pains in my abdomen, and a good bit of bleeding. I tried telling myself that my body was… read more
Does anyone else find sex to be very uncomfortable and painful is certain positions, (doggy/laying on side or stomach and partner enters vaginally from behind rather than ontop)? Any suggestions as to how to make it less painful? I find that I have such a low sex drive, and it is so unpleasant and uncomfortable which makes me sad because I want to have more sex with my boyfriend to feel that connection, but the pain makes me never want to. I feel like I’m failing him as I am not meeting his needs as I want… read more
Hi, does anyone have any tips for after a hysterectomy and excision surgery? I have had excision surgery before so i know what to expect from that. But any tips about having both done at same time would be awesome. Any recovery tips are wanted! Thanks!
Okay, I have a constant vicious cycle of UTIs and yeast infections or sometimes just one or the other. The problem...I have tried everything under the Sun to stop these infections from occurring and I mean everything. This has been going on for about 2 years like this non-stop.
I exercise a lot...maybe I need to take a shower IMMEDIATELY after exercising (sometimes I can be in the gym for 2-3 hours..I know I am crazy lol), so maybe… read more

I’m in Michigan and I love my dr but I believe he used the laser in my lap surgery last May (that also ended up with the removal of my tube and ovary). I have pain from the surgery and now he is recommending a hysterectomy. I swear he told me at the time he had a bunch of endo on my bowels he couldn’t touch but now is saying it was clear,
This group is also nearby. I’m not on fb so I don’t know if they’re on the nook or not:
They say they’re #1 in the… read more
