I have been waiting 9 years for a diagnosis and I haven't had an MRI but am waiting for a possible laporoscopy but it could take months to hear back, how do I go about an MRI to maybe see if that can confirm endometriosis.
All I gotta say is fight for your diagnosis! After previous Laproscopy and operations they still didnt find anything... until sept 2023 I went to the emergency for severe pain and vomiting they ended… read more
I am 33 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 endo of the bowels in 2015. I have had one laparoscopy in 2015 and have been on Visanne since and thus haven't had my periods or been in any pain. I want to try and get pregnant this year, but I am very scared about the pain coming back and not being able to fall pregnant.
Your diagnosis is very similar to mine, except I've just started Visanne and have 6 months to go... Would love to hear any updates once you have them. Are assisted fertility treatments an option for… read more

Hi Everyone!
I just stumbled upon this site and I’m so glad I did! I’m 33 years old and was diagnosed with endo when I was 18. I had a laparoscopy shortly after diagnosis. My OB has given me the option to try the Mirena or Visanne but I honestly have no idea what to try. I’m hesitant to do either but I need some relief. Can anyone who has tried one or both of these give me some… read more
I just got off my course of Visanne. It was quite effective. I was on it for a year. After my first 2 months of being on it, my period stopped and came back a month after I stopped the meds. Which… read more

I get not like pains but more just the feeling that somethings there and when i cough whilst sitting up i get a shock of pain under my stomach. My mum was diagnoses with endometriosis and she recently got a hysterectomy so i was wondering if there is any chance i could have it? Im scared to go to check it out as the thought of someone just looking down there scares me for no apparent reason you know?
