I've been so down and out. I've tried to keep positive about things, but it seems I find it harder and harder every day. My number 1 dream has always been to have a family. I'm engaged and my fiancé has a daughter from a previous relationship. When I see them together it makes my heart melt and she's always asking when she's going to have a baby sister. I can't help but think I may never be able to conceive.. there's some days I can't even look at baby pictures because I get so jealous and… read more

I've been on it for just over two months. It has completely stopped my period. I'm getting my Endo under control in hopes to have a baby. I'm worried that without a period I maybe going backwards 😞
Results of my HSG ended up showing an infected and blocked left Fallopian tube. Just had surgery to remove it and also removed endo scar tissue at the same time. Stopped Visanne one week after… read more
I am 33 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 endo of the bowels in 2015. I have had one laparoscopy in 2015 and have been on Visanne since and thus haven't had my periods or been in any pain. I want to try and get pregnant this year, but I am very scared about the pain coming back and not being able to fall pregnant.
Your diagnosis is very similar to mine, except I've just started Visanne and have 6 months to go... Would love to hear any updates once you have them. Are assisted fertility treatments an option for… read more
Being 20 weeks and 3 days pregnant
I am concerned about the risks during the birthing process
Sadly, it's a fact that women die while giving birth all the time and women of color like myself die at even higher rates.
Taking this into consideration while having stage IV Endo... I am concerned about risks while giving birth and if there is a percentage/statistic that maybe known of how often do women with Endo die during child birth or within the year of giving birth? As well as having… read more
I did nothing to increase my level of fertility. This was a surprise pregnancy. I wasn't planning or on the path of trying to get pregnant. I was on depo for about a year and stopped it myself without… read more
I’ve been suffering with very bad period pains since my teenage years, im now 36 years old. I’ve had all the pain medications, scans, contraceptive pill and depot injection but GP never took me serious. Until last year at my ultrasound scan I was asked if I was ever tested for endometriosis as ovaries very close together.
I had a laparoscopy last year and diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis. The surgeon said that my ovaries were stuck to uterus wall and he managed to remove the adhesions… read more

I have been taking Visanne for 3 months and it has been amazing for the pelvic pain and bleeding. Prior to being on Visanne I had been bleeding for 2 consecutive months with no stop and was hospitalized 3 times for the pain.
I was finally referred to a gyno and she prescribed Visanne which started working immediately to my surprise and was such a relief. I was not told that this was not a birth control pill and was just told that they wanted to change my pill. I realize it stops your ovulation… read more
Is it possible for me to get pregnant after ablation, and my doctor prescribed visanne because I have abdomen pain
I have been confused on whether or not Visanne is a contraceptive. The internet say that it isn't but people who take it found that they didn't get pregnant while taking Visanne and being sexually active
My gynae told me that visanne is not a contraception. Hence you might get pregnant. If you planning to be sexually active while on visanne, you need to find another method of contraception.
Everyone is different, some people find it easier getting pregnant when they are younger with endometriosis naturally , but later need assisted reproductive help via IVF etc others don't require help… read more
My husband and I agree that we only want one child - the one I'm pregnant with. My husband wants me to get my "tubes tied" after the baby comes. While I agree with preventing another pregnancy, I'm uncertain about that specific procedure. Anyone with endometriosis have experience with this? Does it improve endometriosis?
I would prefer my man get a vasectomy.
