Always Tired?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I dont know if its chronic fatigue, or a side effect of medication but im just always tired, and seemingly always out of energy. Anyone else have this?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Endo
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone,

I had a laparoscopy 5 years ago and the endo they found was removed. I think it's come back as I'm back to having excruciating periods which means I vomit on day one and I'm in bed most of the day. I'm not keen though to have another laparoscopy to determine, partcularly if I have it removed again and then it comes back again.

This week I was told I have CFS having been suffering with chronic fatigue, brain fog and exhaustion after exercising (for a short time and I'm fit and… read more

Has Laparoscopic Endo Surgery Improved Your Chronic Fatigue?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had debilitating chronic fatigue for 3.5 years. We have explored multiple avenues of my health through various physicians to get answers, with little success. I have been diagnosed with Endo (after gallbladder removal). However, we have not explored it more. I am hoping that getting laparoscopic endo surgery could help improve/eliminate my chronic fatigue.

Chronic Fatigue
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

In the last year my fatigue level has gotten out of control. I sleep for about 10 hours a night, waking up every hour or 2. After waking up some days I only have enough energy to make it to the couch. Most days I don't even have the energy to shower or even hold a conversation. I am mentally and physically drained. My whole body aches and is tense all the time. I can never get comfortable because my whole body just hurts all the time. Has anyone else had these symptoms? Is this my endo or could… read more

Fatigue
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have issues falling asleep doing things like driving? I've had this issue since high school and no doctor has been able to help me. It's been pretty bad lately and it's a huge worry for me because I don't have someone to drive me every time I need to go somewhere, nor can I afford a different means of transportation. I don't know if this is common or related to endo, or if it might be something else. I've been tested for so many things including anemia and narcolepsy, experimented… read more

So My Dr Is Suggesting A Hysterectomy..
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

37 years old, Stage IV endo, left tube and ovary removed last May due to huge endometrioma, persistent pain on that side, not looking to have more kids. Day one and two are typically beyond miserable.

So my dr has recommended a hysterectomy (cervix, uterus) but leaving the right ovary so I wouldn’t go into menopause but wouldn’t have monthly periods. We’ve tried combination pills, progestin only pills, nuvaring, all with little effect.

I know it won’t cure endo but any thoughts on the… read more
