How Many Of You Were On Long Term Birth Control?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Ok so I'm asking this question because my Mom is curious. How many of you were on long term birth control before you started having issues trying to conceive?
My Mom is convinced birth control (or something consumed in our generation) is causing infertility. We know birth control keeps Endo from growing quickly, so I'm not sure her theory applies with our disease. But I told her I would ask

Does Anyone Know Why Insurance Doesn't Cover Fertility Treatments
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

My boyfriend and I were talking yesterday on the way home about how fertility treatments aren't covered by insurance but yet there are things that are covered if a doctor validates them as necessary medically.
Why can't a doctor validate that a woman needs fertility treatments in order to get pregnant and it be covered??

Is There Any Way To Medically Get An Indication Of Your Fertility, Without Actually Trying To Get Pregnant?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have known from a very young age that the biggest dream in my life is to be a mother. To be pregnant, to create life. I literally dream about it.

Note, I do not see this in a naive / romanticised light as I helped raise my two nephews.

I'm in a loving serious relationship and we know that we want to have children together, but we also know that we don't want that now.

I am newly diagnosed, and from what I've researched, the only way to know if you have fertility issues is to actually try… read more

Is A Laparoscopy Surgery Worth It?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

After reading a lot of people’s stories on here, I’m starting to doubt getting the surgery from seeing so many women having more problems after surgery than before. I really want to be able to have a baby and I do have “simple” and “complex” ovarian cyst that go up and down in size also they said I have “endometriomas” on my ovaries through MRI at my first hospital stay last November. Im not sure if those are the ones that grew into the complex cyst I have now? I’m so confused now with all my… read more

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hey everyone!! Little background, i was diagnosed with Endo when i was 22, 4 years ago when i ended up in the er due to severe pain. Trying To Get Pregnant
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hi all,
I've been trying to convince for almost a year now, without any luck at all, which is really disheartening. My menstrual cycle is regular and I've been using ovulation strips as well as taking folic acid.
I'm currently waiting for blood tests and scans to check my fertility, is there anything else I can try to help conceive?

Thank you x
