I've started spotting while on Depoprovera, but I haven't had my period in months. Is this normal? Or should I see my GYN?it's been about 2 months since my last period, and I haven't stopped taking depo, so I'm worried. Before the spotting, I was having so much discharge it looked like i peed myself.
When I was on it in my younger days, I spotted every now and then, but not often. And the spotting didn't even last a full day. It's totally normal. However, if its happening too much or is a major… read more
There are no endometriosis specialists where i live at. Too which would it worth it to travel to visit one or keep seeing the obgyn i have had since having endometriosis?
I use Seckin Endometriosis Center in NYC. They are absolutely fantastic. Changed my life. Best decision I have ever made.
Hi ladies, so I've been dealing with endo for quite some time now and I had my first lap scope in Feb this year. It helped for about two periods after that - both seemed a little weird to me considering they only lasted for about 4 days (my usual goes for about 7 to 9 days). I've now had a period for nearly 3 weeks (further insite, I had a wonderful 3 day break where there was just a weird light brown discharge). I am in so much more pain right now that before my lap scope and removal. Can… read more

For those of you who have been on Visanne did you notice a change in your periods? My first one on it came late and lasted for about two weeks and this one is even later or possibly non-existent I had some cramps around the time I should have gotten it and maybe a drop. Can it stop your period altogether? My doctor never mentioned it when she prescribed it to me and it slipped my mind to ask. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Im on my 5th month and have just spotting monthly until 12 days ago been bleeding continuously moderate with cramps. Im taking celebrex to stop the cramps and lighten the flow. I have been told to… read more
I’m 3 weeks late and have taken multiple pregnancy tests- all negative. I know periods can be abnormal post-lap but when is it too long for it to just be a “missed period”?
Hopefully u get relief soon
I started taking visanne 7-8 weeks ago and had a noticeable reduction in pain however my first cycle while on the medication hasnt stopped and I'm going on 4 weeks. My gyno is suggesting I tough it out since it's working to reduce pain but I'm inclined to stop if the bleeding continues. Everything I've read so far about visanne indicates your period should become lighter and maybe even disappear so I'm wondering if anyone else had this side effect and was there a way to stop the bleeding?
Mine was 3 month then I had to stop it
If you have, do you find it actually helps the pain atall? I’ve had my coil in for around 3 years & if anything the pain seems 10x worse now than before hand. I’ve also been suffering with chronic UTI’s & bladder problems for the past year & I am under urology for this as they would like to see if it’s being cause by the endometriosis.
Hi Emma
Sorry for my late response, I'm in the same place as you in terms of wondering whether to have my coil replaced next year, the only plus is the control it has with the bleeding because… read more
