MRI
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been fed up with docs and random ER moments so despite being rejected by my insurance for an MRI, I forked up the cash and got one.

Now I have a CD with the images and am unsure who to get to review them. My current doc is the best person I've met so far who has experience with endo, but he's also very pushy and patronizing. He believes I should not look into any other options until I try an oral birth control. I am very much not willing to go back on birth control (lots to be said, but… read more

Does Endometriosis Cause Rapid Heartbeat?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does endometriosis cause rapid heart rate, specially after eating food? Every time I eat a meal these days my heart beat increases to upto 135 beats per minute. Sometimes it increases for no reason. My heart is fine, I wonder if they are connected.

That the gyne may have the take my ovary out. I’m quite frankly terrified, I’ve always wanted kids, there’s nothing I want more. Any advice or experiences people have had I would be so grateful to hear 💛

Alright My Endometriosis Warriors, I Need Your Help!!
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

In my last post I talked about being diagnosed with endo. Recently by a fertility specialist. The specialist advised I go on lupron for 3 months to lower inflammation and increase my chances to conceive. Well I thought I’d ask my OBGYN for her opinion and she asked ne how was I diagnosed with endo. And I told her I had a biopsy and hysteroscopy. My OBGYN told me the only way to get diagnosed is by sometime that goes into your stomach and leaves scars. So question is; how we’re you diagnosed with… read more

Is A Second Dye Test Really Worth It?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

During my lap surgery my previously open left tube spasmed and they aren’t sure if it is closed or open now. They want me to repeat the dye test to see for sure. I am hesitant one because the test was very painful, and two if the tube is open I have a good chance of kids like 70% in the next 6 months to a year. At this point I have no clue what is worth doing. Anyone experience this and have some advice?

It can be worth it to get a second test. Maybe you can check if it would be possible to go to a different doctor or radiologist for it.

MRI - What Is Your Experience With Interpreting The Results?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey Ladies! I'll be having my MRI soon and was wondering if you could share your experience with having MRI results interpreted. Have you had conflicting diagnosis? Were the doctor looking for other conditions (i.e. adenomyosis)? Is there anything I should be looking out for?
Thank you!

Has Anyone Been Told They Have Polyps, Thickened Lining, & Maybe Clots?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had an ultrasound done recently. The tech and radiologist doctor mentioned a thickened endometrial lining and either polyps or clots. Has anyone else been told this before? Is this relative to another possible condition or symptom for me to be even more concerned?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

Had the same. They kept saying i had a huge blood clot in my uterus and that it would "go away never did and now my new gyno is treating me for endo. I'm positive its all related
