I have read that pelvic flooring exercises are really helpful for endometriosis. Would you reccomend them or any other form of exercise?
I found Pilates which incorporates a lot of pelvic floor work helped me so much. I find core excersizes so helpful also, as I find when my core is stronger everything just feels better and my bloat… read more
I've been really wanting to do some light exercises everyday but I have no idea where to begin.
Can anyone recommend simple exercises and how often you do them? There's a bunch of exercise apps out there but I'm not sure which is the best.
Thanks in advance!
I tend to work out a lil once everyday or even twice. I usually just do 12 squats and rest then repeat 3 more times. Taking it easy and repeat with lunges.
Hi what type of exercise do you do to help tone the stomach area?
I'm struggling to find a form of exercise that doesn't cause a flare-up. I used to do loads of walking and would aim for 100k steps a week, now the thought of that makes me want to cry because of the pain waking excessively causes.
I'm looking for something to help keep off the weight and bring some endorphins into my life.
yin yoga, Pilates, upper body weight lifting and swimming is really good.
I feel that when I workout i.e doing abs its actually causing me a flare up. Also, I don't know if anybody has this issue but I feel so tired most of the time...and cannot drink coffee either.
I have this issue too especially when doing core related exercises. Yesterday i did a lof of planks side and front, and my pain was much worse in the evening :/ I still do those exercises anyways… read more

She has cramps and spotting. She feels so worried and overwhelmed. She has gained weight as well. Any suggestions on how to loose weight . And should she be concerned with the spotting?
Any experience or advise, please
I’ve never taken Norlutate, so I can’t say. But I would consult her doctor before worrying about anything.
Spotting could occur for several reasons, having endometriosis is one.

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone on here does exercise and dieting at all to try and help their endometriosis? I’m going to give it a try because I never really thought of doing it before, even when the doctors told me to try it, but I don’t know how much exercise I should do and which are the best exercises. I’ve found a diet to try out on foods to cut out or just cut down on, but I’m not entirely sure on how much exercise will be just right.
It’s okay, it hurts my wrists, but that usually goes away when I’m done. I don’t know that it helps the endo pain much, but it helps me feel like I’m doing what I can to stay in shape.
You know what is interesting, on IG i see ALL the time that people suggest, for endo, to keep moving… which is interesting because i can barely walk my normal strides because of the pains. The MORE I’m moving, twisting, bending… the MORE pain I’ll be in. Even when I was able to do yoga, They have yoga for endometriosis. It’s painful to do positions like downward dog and even child’s pose… Anyone else have more pains with more movement? Praying I’m not alone on this. 😒😔😞
Just lifting my leg for a step or getting in or out of a car is too much at times, let alone walking. I find I can move at some points throughout the month, but once the cycle comes back, I'm down! So… read more
