No complications. Performed laparoscopically w/robot (! a 🤖 took my 🥚🥚🥚!) Was actually outpatient; I did have to take a nap at the hospital to sleep off the anesthesia. Recovery harder than first lap to remove cysts but not terrible. It was January so lots of reading & sleeping. I was petrified to fall on the ice; thankfully a non issue. Very grateful my Mom could stay with me for a few days immediately afterward💝
3 fibroids (*that we know of) & stage IV Endo w/massive uterine-bowel adhesion; right oophorectomy in 2013 due to abscessed cyst. * I say this bc my sister-in-law just had abdominal myomectomy: she knew of 5 but they removed 15 + ovarian growth not seen in any imaging. 15!!!
Thanks for sharing Pook. How did you feel after the surgery. Any complications?
My mom did, she had fibroid everywhere, and the dr still left 1 ovary in. I'm sorry idiot dr
Hi Rachel, along with endometriosis, I was also diagnosed with a fibroid in my uterus.
