Who has had excision surgery and has it helped with your pain?? My pain is so severe that it’s affecting my entire life. I am considering this option but I am terrified. My endometriosis got a lot worse once I tied my tubes.
Glad to help, Rebecca! Be sure to ask lots of questions and that your doctor answers them and makes you completely comfortable with the road ahead. Good luck!
I am debating when and if to get the laprascopy to get a real diagnosis. I work as a Massage Therapist, without PTO and am also still recovering from Lymphoma. Its been a hard year.
To alleviate some of the endo pain and have a "band aid" solution until surgery I went on the BC Pill, Apri, which is a low dose of hormones. Currently on month 3 and its barely helping. I guess my ? is how long was your recovery from the lap? Ive been given vague answers like 2-6 weeks!
Thank you so much, Gabi4! Wow, I am glad to hear you decided to go through with it! I am still torn, but all of the responses are helping!
Hi there,
I'm looking for a recommendation for Endo excision specialists in PA. I'm close to Philly but willing to travel if need be.

But I am out of options and I do not want to be miserable the rest of my… read more

I have to make a decision between Lupron or IUD as the birth control pill is no longer an option for me. What does everyone feel is better for pain relief and elimination of growth?
I have the Mirena IUD as birth control and still use Lupron for endo. So it’s not really a choice between the two. Lupron was hard on my overall system but I got significant pain relief from my… read more
Did progesterone help your symptoms? I have endometriosis and have had excision surgery once but now have worsening symptoms.
I had excision surgery last May, almost 8 months ago. My doctor removed a cyst and scraped out the endo she found around my tubes and ovaries. She said it looked good afterwards, and they even checked for blockage inside my tubes. They gave me the okay about having children and everything sounded good. I'm on a birth control pill to keep the endo from coming back too quickly, but I still feel like I'm experiencing the chronic fatigue and breast pain and muscle soreness that I had with the endo… read more
