Has anyone had excision with Dr Cynthia Mosbrocker?
Is she in Seattle Washington? I saw some really good reviews on her. Especially if the bowel was involved. The most important question is does she vaporize when doing excision or cauterize? She also uses DaVinci which I didn't want.
It is easier to see in the fact that the robot flips everything back around so that it is not like looking into a mirror and it is easier for a doc to orient himself or herself. It is harder to see in the way it is more difficult to manipulate certain organs to get under them to excise according to Dr. Cook and Dr. Sinervo there are a few things in that area that need to be worked out. I think she is probably a very skilled surgeon tho. So it shouldn't matter a whole lot.
She is in Gig Harbor, WA. Its over an hour south. I don't know which method she uses to excise, I will ask that though. She can remove 99-100% of it though and only has a 14% recurrent rate.
I read pros and cons to the DaVinci as well. Are you against having the extra incision? I was told by another Dr it makes it much easier to see though.
