The ONLY test for Endo is laparoscopy everything else just hints towards Endo

Hi, unless endometriosis has shown up on a scan it is hard to actually diagnose just by symptoms alone, all my symptoms pointed to having endometriosis but the only sure way that it can be diagnosed is by having surgery. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy done and it showed that I have grade 4 endo, I'm really glad I had the procedure done as now the proper plan of treatment can be pursued.
Hope this is of some help, it takes away all the worrying about if you have it or not or if it is something else, so yes if anyone asked me what to do I would advise on surgery as it can be done on a day case in which you go home the same day you have the op.
