Has the laproscopic surgery helped anyone with pain? Did it relieve anyone's pain in the littlest bit?!? Or help with symptoms
I had a laparoscopy at the beginning of this year and my symptoms have gotten worse. It is extremely frustrating but birth control and changing my diet seem to be the only real things that help, but even then there is still some pain. Before you get surgery I would exhaust all of my options!
I had laparoscopy three months ago and I am back to square one! Woke up this morning with terrible pains an tomorrow aim seeing a specialist.
Is it possible that they will operate again?
More than anything it depends on how skilled the surgeon is and how they do away with Endo. Many burn it away which does no good at all. Think of it as burning away a weed. You're still leaving the root there. The proper way is excision. Even then, it depends on how skilled the surgeon is.
It also depends on what YOU do to help yourself. Do you eat right, exercise. Are you your own advocate?
If you can't do those things, it doesn't matter if you have the best surgeon in the world.
I had deep excision. Yes it helped with the pain
Thank you very much ladies, all your advices are useful. I never used any form of birth control and I am considering the Marina coil. A friend of mine has been advising me to do that but I was skeptical but now...!
My dr and I had a talk on Tuesday and I opted for medication and definitely change my life style.
Thank you very much once more for all the advices. Another op was not an option for me
