What are your thoughts on it? What made you decide that course of action?
I have PCOS and Endo. It has not been easy. My daughter is adopted as I cannot have children of my own. This is something that I have talked about with family for about a year now. They are all supportive, but I would love to hear from yall...
Thank you. Good luck to you as well. I'm sorry that you are having a difficult time with this.
Good luck. I know how hard it is to decide what you want to keep versus taking things out, struggling with this right now, and I still want a family. I am so glad you have support, I feel like my husband and I are on two different planets!
It kind of does. I'm going in on Friday to transfer my medical records and to talk to my new doctor about the surgery. I'll be sure to talk with him about it. Thank you (:
My specialist said that getting rid of everything (uterus, ovaries etc) will help the most in terms of keeping things under control. A scary thought for most, but by putting your body into menopause basically, the endo has got not much to feed on.
After this type of surgery, get physio to roll the tissue on your abdomen, painful as hell, but can loosen and help with post surgical adhesions. When you do a surgery like this and are left with pain afterwords (you also may be completely relieved of pain after the surgery] this is usually what it is from a dysfunction in the connective tissue and scarring.
Does that make sense??
Thank you. Best to you as well (:
