Usually after 4 years they want to do another Laparoscopy because it will most likely be back by then. But again it depends on how much they took out before and what Stage you are.

Unless you have excision surgery, it will likely come back. How quickly is different for every person. My pain got worse after my first surgery but I have a friend who was completely pain free for a year.

I had my lap aug 12 and was back in pain sept 9. So it didnt even work. My doc said she cauterized everything she found, but when i went for my follow up and said i was still in pain, she said it only works 50% of the time and there can always be microscopic endo

Honestly? It depends on the surgeon and how skilled the surgeon is...how Endo was removed.
