I reluctantly went with the IUD and it has since been removed. I am back on the pill. The IUD sucked for me. Horrible cramping and spotting. Had it in less than a year. Not my thing. I hope whatever decision you make helps. Good luck, feel better.

Thank you guys for your thoughts and feelings. I am still a little unsure which direction I am going. I am super afraid of the IUD as I am already in constant pain and don't want any more cramping and/or a foreign object in my body and as for the Lupron I don't remember is being as awful as the Depo was for me. It was so many years ago. I have to make decision soon. I wish more than anything she would put me back on the pill.

I've gotten a laparoscopy and started Lupron immediately after. The first 3 months are hell because "its flushing the hormones out causing a flare of endometriosis" according to my doctor. It's horrible and I don't recommend it. It's a band aid for a permanent problem.

I have an IUD. Paraguard. No hormones. I love it. Buy now bc of my endo they are putting me on a pill to help and I'm petrified of going on a pill!
