Pain After Surgery
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Good morning!!!! I had the lap surgery Thursday night... And I am having this severe throbbing pain when I stand right around my belly button area. And I can't breathe in or out because it hurts that area. Just want to check if that happened to anyone else? Or if anyone had it really swollen around that area?

So nervous lol

Yeah it happened to me too. Freaked me out really bad. But after another week or so it started going away. If it gets worse then you might wanna talk to a doctor. But it should slowly decrease within the 2-3 weeks post surgery. Good luck!

I was told part of my lung collapsed following laparoscopy and not being able to breathe in fully. Please get checked out.
