Ive been seeing a few posts on here about the "endo diet", although im not fan of "diets"- its lifestyles to me, im interested in this one. Anything that potentially can help with my symptoms. Can anyone lead me in the direction for more information? A website or book?
I follow the Endo diet. I Pinterested alot. At first I cut everything out, No Gluten, alcholol, red meat, refined sugar, dairy, caffeine, soy, almonds, or processed meat. It's an all organic meat/veggie fresh caught fish diet. It took about 2 weeks to become pain free. Once I was pain free I started reintroducing items into my diet to find out what my triggers are. It's wonderful being pain free! Granted I still have pain during shark week. The sugar cravings only last 3 days. I know the diet seems intimidating, but it's definitely do-able. I dropped the extra 10lbs I had very quick. The real bebefit is being pain free. It's a life style change, but so worth it. Good luck!
I've been told to stay off red meat and basically eat a high protein vegan like diet.. Eating meat gives me cramps and wind anyway.. Anybody else?
I heard the oatmeal helps ease the pain but not sure.
