Has it stopped working for anyone? I have been on this medication for close to 2 years now and just recently i am starting to have the same pain I had before starting on it. Scared it may no longer be working.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member i am so sad to hear your symptoms may be coming back. I had a couple bad days last week but have been ok since then. fingers crossed that nothing else comes back. Have you had any side effects from the visanne?
Visanne only works for me up to 4 month. After that my period came back and the pain. Doctor recommended to increase the visanne to 1.5 tables daily and he said he will add another pill as well. I’m worry because my sister has breast cancer . do u think visanne will increase the chance of having breast cancer ?
the visanne stopped mine completely. I haven't had a period in 4 years! Best side effect ever..

I am sad to say that my pain has been back for 3 weeks now. Visanne "Dienogest" has seemed to have completly stoped working.
It was a miracle that it was working...I had finaly gotten a so so normal life back, but now I am totaly disabilitated once again and desparate.
My doctor talked about putting in an IUD-levonorgestrel in. Anyone has comments on that?
My diagnosis is both adenomyosis and endometetriosis
Thank god someone else is having the same thing, I have the doctors tomorrow and desperate to find out if Visanne has just stopped working. I have also done two years on it. Nicole this forum said you posted here 5 month ago did your endo come back??
