I have a couple of polyps, and they've said regular colonoscopy's that show polyps will have to be done every 4 or 5 years

Dear I had endo in my douglas pouch, small entestines and colon. It all mimiced the symptoms of Ibs and stomach ulcer. Of you have red blood in your stool then a lap is an absolute must. I had a wonderful surgeoun doing my pre-op assesment for my first lap and he had no doubt that its endo. Write all your symptoms in a diary everyday. Some docs can be ignorant sometimes and my diary helped with my diagnosis.

Show anything like endometriosis?
I recently had my colonoscopy and part of many reasons I pushed for one is I was hoping they would at least biospy my bowel nodule but no traces of that nodule were seen in my bowel wall so I don't believe endometriosis can be found during colonoscopy I could be wrong it's just my personal experience.
but they did find 2 precancerous polyps and 3 hemorrhoids grateful the polyps are gone just goes to show any time you have blood in stools and very low ferritin levels push for colonoscopy as rarely endometriosis causes rectal bleeding.
My colorectal surgeon at the time I was presenting with these symptoms never hinted that endometriosis was the cause .

I had a colonoscopy and it was very painful due to adhesions but they didn't do anything.
