I'm 29, I've tried for a little over 10 years to get pregnant. I'm unable to. I've had 2 laproscopic procedures to remove endometrial tissue. I have cramping and pain even when I'm not on my period and when I am on my period, I basically useless for about a week. The pain is so bad I feel like I might burst. It takes 8 ibuprofen just to get the pain to a tolerable place. Is it possible to get a hysterectomy and be done with it? My husband and I are looking into adoption anyway so I feel like⦠read more
You could also have a condition like I now have after having endo> i recently diagnosed with chronic pelvic pain syndrome which is kind of likened to phantom limb syndrome - your nerves fire off unecessarily
Sorry hun but a hysterectomy doesn't cure endometriosis. It'll still grow and get pains. I wish it would help I really do. π
Thanks for this info. My surgeon suggested histerectomy after 3 laparoscopies but I am worried about the HRT & side effects.
Thanks for mentioning this! In the UK- NHS. I have been tested for diabetes - after mentioning the leg pain. Even so my doctor knows that I have endo this trigger was not mentioned. Although, I did have a swelling on my spine from a fall, too.
