Does Anyone Experience Intense Bloating And Pressure Around Ovulation?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Think this was one of my first endo symptoms as a teen and I had an uninformed doctor tell me 'you're lucky because you will know when to get pregnant'. Does anyone else experience incredible pressure along with pain at ovulation? It's hard to describe but it hurts with the impact of sitting on a chair and going pee. Thanks

I could have written this! Right hand ovulation pain. And it's more painful than my period. I feel like I need to walk around hunched over as it hurts to straighten up

Hey! Yes massively! The endo bloat is so not nice... What I find helps me is an anti inflammatory diet- so gluten free, sugar free, meat free, dairy free. You might think what's left - but there's loads left! It honestly makes all the difference having fruit and veggies all the time, the bloat and heaviness/pressure isn't as present, and also looooads of water, maybe give it a go when you come off your birth control and let me know what you think. Xxx

I think I'm getting them again even after my hysteroscopy. Just not as severe but still very uncomfortable and having intense pain or discomfort. Started yesterday mild, worse today hope it goes away tmrw.

Yup. This is exactly what I've been going through for almost a year. I thought I was going Bonkers. In the beginning it was scary Trying to figure out because I never got it before. I would be awake for hours at a time with me keeled over on the bed rocking back and forth. It would be worse if I start walking. I tried to sit on the toilet to relieve gas or 2 but that would be painful too....

Anyways, I get it before my period and after. The first time I got it I thought I was getting my period again. So each month I dread the pain and having to prep myself with
-high strength migraine meds
-menstrual pills for premenstrual cramping
-simethicone for gas

This is just too much stuff ugh....Hopefully I find out more from my Dr getgetting a special test for inside the cervix I think give us more about what's going on

Will update after the 12th.....

Take care and be well 💗
