I was diagnosised in February with endometerosis. I went in for a laparscopy on the 13th fo February 2015, where the doctor was able to remember the build up. Obviously, I was only in stage 1. He did not put me on any treatment, but changed my pill from triphasil to Yaz. Its been 3 months now since the laparsocpy, and I still bleed for days after I have intercourse with my husband, and suffer from severe pelvic pain. Is this normal? Or is this a sign of something else? Is it possibly the pill… read more

Hello

It could be the YAZ, unfortunately not every one is the same, that is why we don't all have the same side effects to certain medication, the Depo injection caused thinning to my uterus and caused me to have my lady time for weeks, Then my doctor changed me to Visanne my firt 4 months was hectic, but now 8 months later everything is pretty stable, no moodiness and I have no lady time.
Perhaps phone your doctor to confirm if what your experiencing is normal?..... and whether it is a short term or long term side effect.

Hope you feel better soon honey

I recently went to a new doctor, an endo specialist, and after going to so many doctors for years recommended me to get an MRI. He was suspicious that I could have adenomyosis--where the endo scarring starts to affect the wall of the uterus. I'd never heard of adenomyoisis before and I've been trying to educate myself for years. Turns out I do have it!
Bleeding and pain even post laparoscopy is what I was going through as well.
I'm trying to decide whether to get a hysterectomy--full or partial--or wait for menopause.
I've had no luck with any medication. The side affects always do me in.
