New Here! :) Anyone Suffer Recurrent Miscarriage With Endo?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone
I'm super new here and just came across this site in my bid for research and answers
I'm not diagnosed with Endo but have recently seen a gastro specialist for possible irritable bowel syndrome. I have been TTC #2 for over 4 1/2 years, and everytime I get pregnant, it ends in a chemical pregnancy at exactly the same time every time. I get +ve tests (including low HCG bloods) for a few days in a row, they never get darker then they get fainter, till it's -ve and my period arrives.… read more

In a nutshell here is what i went through. After one of my many laps, my gyne had me try 2 rounds of clomid/estrace/trigger shot. Both failed. The clomid caused cysts. She referred me to ivf dr. Had saline ultrasound, uterus checked out fine. We did 2 rounds of follistim , estrogen, aspirin, progesterone , trigger shot for iui. Neither worked. Was told i had low ovarian reserve and poor egg quality. In the meantime endo grew back along with cysts. Had another lap. My gyne said our best bet would b an egg donor. My husband had no issues with his sperm. I had to have an endometrial biopsy to check for protein that helps with implantation. I.didnt have that protein. So dr suggested lupron. I was not happy about it, was supposed to.do lupron for 2 months so my body could rwgenerate protein. I only ended up doing one shot.of lupron. I had horrific side effects. So dr said to use egg donor . We picked a donor and i did estrogen/progesterone/aspirin and antibiotics. Did a fresh transfer and i got pg. I had to take progesterone shots my whole 1st trimester until the placenta took over. We havd 6 frozen embryos. We r tryng for baby #2. Already had two cancel.to.cycles. 1st cycle.my body did not respond to meds. 2nd cycle.got cancelled due to i got a colon infection.

@donotko no worries - ask away! Did you have issues with implantation or anything?
I had my egg quality checked and my DH had sperm checked when we first went to the specialist just over 3 yrs ago now, and all was good there.

Do you know they checked your egg quality? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to think of everything i had to do that might help figure out your issue. My husband and i did have to use an egg donor. And that is what finally worked for me.

Thanks @donotko i'll mention the saline biopsy to my specialist too :) I've tried accupuncture a while ago. I have tried so many things over the past 4 1/2 years, with all the money it was costing and with no real change, I stopped.

Maybe a saline biopsy to make sure no holes in the uterus? Ive had that test done twice. Another thing to maybe look at is acupuncture. I did that for a few years and i trully feel it does help. Im sorry you have to go through all of this.
