2 days after Mirena I had a withdrawal bleed which was crazy. I then resumed my normal cycle 2 weeks later. About 3 months later my bleeding had returned to pre-mirena and had improved significantly as the clotting had stopped.

I just want to remind you to keep an eye on the bleeding. May be severe! The crash doesn't always hit right away, either. You may start to feel back to normal right away, then a while later the distinctive mirena-feeling comes back (and will eventually go away..!!).
