Hello girls,

I am new to this forum and to the endless questionning that Endo seems to come with!
Earlier this week, my gynecologist said she think I have Endo - she put in on Visanne as last step of diagnosis (ie, if the pains stops - then it's Endo) and if it is as treatment obviously.

I have used Visanne for a year prior to trying to conceive. The doctor will not prescribe Visanne as a contraception but given that Visanne stops your cycle/period, it is more or less a contraceptive. They just won't tell you it is one because the clinical trials have not tested this. So, the short answer is you cannot get pregnant on Visanne. We were advised to stop Visanne when we wanted to get pregnant.

Hi dear I did all the exams as I married two years ago and no pregnancy occurred while everything is normal then I went to gyne he saw all test and HSG everything is great then after vaginal ultrasound he said I think it may be that u have a stage one ( mild) endometriosis that can cause the referred pregnancy and he prescribed me visanne for two months I started it yesterday and it's ok till now only heavy blood clots during my second day of period
So I think it's ok to take it for short term and c what's going to happen
