We are new to this disease, and my husband has been having trouble knowing how to help me, or what to say. I have done a little research trying to find stuff to help him, but not much has come up that is useful. Are there any blogs or books written by a man for a man about Endo?
I gave my man our computer and told him to google and then explain it back to me lol
He didnt care to read a bunch of stuff,
But men are clueless, he often asks me if there was a day i didnt complain of pain,
He now after 3 years and a few surgeries knows this is a real and painful thing and to give me space when i need it or comfort
Our hardest battle is Intercourse, its painful and most times uncomfortable so we learnt to do other things as we are human and have needs.
But i think for alot of people, my guy included, if they dont hear the words cancer or tumor they dont think its a big deal, the sad truth about endo is its invisible to others.
My husband has started a blog to help him process. He wants it to be a place for men to help one another through this journey of Endo. If any of your men are interested in reading or contributing, here is the link.
I too am having a hard time with the painful intercourse and i have a hard time explaining it to my husband.
