Contemplating switching to the marina but wondering if its worth it or not. Has anyone made the switch from birth control to marina?

I have just come off the mirena after 10 years. It reduced the pain slightly and took away the bleeding which was great. What I struggled with is that I didn`t know when I was getting my period. I would have all the mood swings, fatigue, back pain, inflammation, headaches etc. but because I was not bleeding I was not able to keep track of it as well. My periods on the mirena were irregular as well so it made it hard. I am still contemplating going back on, not sure which is better.

The Mirena IUD keeps endometrium thin and provides contraception. I've not used it. It should be covered in the medical literature.
