I've struggled with my gp over the "more children" issue, but my specialist at the hospital was really understanding (helped having my husband come along to the appointment). I've tried all the suggestions to help with my pain so this is the last option.

Everything I've had done has been through the public health system - no way I could afford to go private. My advice is to just keep going to your gp and get them to refer you, make them put pressure on the hospital.

Yes. No uterus = no adenomyosis. I'm on the waiting list for a hysterectomy for this very reason.

I also just had a Hysterectomy I was also under the impression that I might also have Adenomyosis but I had to go through 4 different doctors to finally get a hysterectomy with one doctor telling me without even looking at my chart saying that was predicted and I was only taking Tramadol at the time and needed to lose weight and I was at a hundred and sixty pounds of that point and already lost over a hundred in the past 10 years so I know what you're feeling if you have been told that you have endometriosis to the point to where you're not going to be able to have children even if you do fertilization then it should be your choice to have a hysterectomy you just have to find the right doctor

Ashley is it through the public system? Do you mind me asking how old you are? How did you go about getting on the waiting list? When i mentioned it to my gp, he started talking about kids. I don't want kids, i want to end all this pain, but a single, 34 year old apparently can't make this kind of decision.
