Discharge And Period?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ok so I've had my mirena fitted for 2 months now but since I have suffered with yellow brown discharge and brown periods is this normal? I am going to see my gp about discharge but just wondered if anyone experienced this x

Thanks. Another question my periods have been regular since mirena fitted but this month I have been bleeding for 14 days. It slowed down and I had sex now it's heavy again anyone had this?

I had globs of black discharge during ovulation, after sex and during my "period" the entire 6 months I had the Mirena. I'm assuming it was old blood.

It took my body a while to adjust as well, it was doing some funny things (like weird discharge). The Mirena IUD helped me for 2-3 years. Hang in there, you could possibly have the best pain free couple years (or more- every body is different!) of your life coming ahead!

Yes, I spotted for about two months when I got mine. It took my Body a while to adjust to it.
