There are horror stories...But so many success stories too! I hope you find what's right for you.

I'm not sure of your cause, but I too had this issue. Heavy bleeding loaded with clots for almost 6 months straight. Very few days I didn't bleed. My gyno at the time didn't believe me until I went in once a week for about a month and a half for exams. He suggested ablation and the removal of my tubes. I was NOT ready for that. I chose to have a d&c followed by the mirena after I was healed up. It's not right for everyone, but it has changed my life. My new gyno has said that some of my Endo symptoms are reversing! I chose the mirena for the low hormone release rather than just a copper IUD. I still have issues...Pain... Bleeding off and on. It's nothing like it was. Again, this has changed my life after years of misery. Physicians typically prefer to not place a mirena if you haven't had children, but it can be done. It's a painful process....But I'm happy I did it! Best of luck to you! I hope you find relief 💜

Thank you!!! I want kids one day but I have to stop bleeding all of the time - the only bc I haven't tried is the mirena or any iud, it always kind of freaked me out. I will take that into consideration now. Thank you again!
