I had a Larascopy in February and now it's May and I feel a lot of relief. I was just wondering, realistically (from real people; not a doctor or statistic) how long until I'll need another ?

I had my laparoscopy and started birth control in November 2015 and my symptoms are still MUCH better than they were prior. I was pretty much symptom free for the first year, but since October I have been having more symptoms and experiencing them more frequently; but still not nearly like I was prior to surgery. A lot of ladies on this site have mentioned needing surgery (or at least having symptoms return) about every two years, but it really is so different for everyone. Fingers crossed that your relief is long-lasting! :)

I don't think it's something they can really pinpoint, everyone is different. Some women take years to go from level 1 to 4, others can in a matter of months. I would say depending on how fast it's growing may determine how fast it will come back. Personally, I am only a level one, and it's been 2 years since my surgery and I have never felt any relief, but my doctors do think I have something else going on and are trying to find it..without any luck so far!

I was hoping the 2 year was just an understatement.

I had a laparoscopy in May 2016. I experienced relief for approx. 2 months but now it is back and worse than ever. However, as Sarah has said, it will completely depend on the person!
