Hi everyone! I'm hoping some of you strong, wonderful women can provide some insight! Have any of you gotten pregnant with endometriosis and felt a reduction of symptoms? My husband and I are trying to start a family before any permanent damage is done to my reproductive organs. Does the pain get better during pregnancy? What about after? Thank y'all so much!
Thank y'all so much for sharing and for the encouragement!!!
Doctors told me I couldn't have children. I have an almost 4 year old and 11 week old. My husband and had fertility drugs to try for our 2nd one but nothing worked. We decided to stop, and when I stopped being so hard and negative on myself we found out I was pregnant. Its not easy all the roller coaster of emotional and negative test results but try to stay positive and don't be to hard on yourself.
My mother says my sister and I "cured" her endo! She said being pregnant and breastfeeding for 4 years continuously did the trick. She also had a hysterectomy a few years later, leaving one ovary for hormone purposes. Best of luck to you and your family!
Thank you so much for the encouragement!
Hello! I just had a baby girl in January, and while everyone is different, during my pregnancy, my pain was practically nonexistent. I had some preggo symptoms but I have never felt so pain free and it felt amazing! But in recent months, it's gotten so much worse. I got the mirena put in and that is really starting to help! But I still have bad days and I do think it's gotten worse since I had my daughter. But being pregnant, felt so great! And being pain freee (for the most part) made it even more enjoyable. Good luck to you and your family! Wish you all the best!
