I never responded well to hormones and the side effects were horrible. I recently watched this documentary called Endo What? Before watching that I thought there was no hope -- my doctor basically said to learn to live with it and stay on pain meds. Since watching that documentary I feel like there is hope. I've already met with an endo surgeon specialist in California (traveled from North Carolina to do it) and I feel like I have a real chance of relieving some of my pain.
