Anyone who has had just one ovary removed or anyone who knows about this - how does having just one ovary differ from two. Biology, moods, hormone levels, pain...
Good for you cause I have heard bad reviews on that Lupron. The side effects are bad . I never was on it though.
In my opinion, both should be removed. I'm less than 6wks away from having a remnant ovary removed that's fused to bowel an artery & was fused w/ my right ureter (This was unfused & sealed off last October). Wished my surgeon would have performed this on my 2nd surgery as I suggested. She was worried about menopause. Menopause has NEVER killed anyone. They now try to convince me to try Lupron to place me into menopause 🤔. Something isn't right about this. 1st you don't want me to go into menopause but now you want to medically induce it along w/ many other possible irreversible side affects. It did nothing for me. As long as you have an ovary or even a remnant of an ovary, estrogen still produces which is not good for endometriosis.
