I had excision surgery in May. They say wait at least 6 months to start seeing the full effect so that will be in November
Right after surgery I felt pressure relieved immediately but about a month later my ovaries (very specific pain) started bothering me. I had a scan (CT) which showed a pretty decent cyst had already formed (wasn't there during surgery). This isn't an answer to your question, but I had the same issue with having pain while I adjusted to birth control and my doctor told me the same thing about the three months. My pain was almost worse in some ways after starting birth control and I really didn't see how it was going to get so much better like they said, but the fourth month was dramatically different. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you will get that relief next month as well. It must be incredibly frustrating to go through the time, money, and healing time (not to mention the hope) of excision surgery to have a new problem present itself. I hope things settle soon and that you will feel better <3

I had a lap done in April to remove my endometriosis and another in July to remove my right tube due to ectopic I to have been experiencing really bad pains in my left side now and I have had scans and bloods but my doctor is trying to get me back into the gyno as she said it's needs to be assessed before my appointment in November after the surgery in April I had instant relief from endometriosis but yeah the pain has gotten worse
