I've had the implant for over two years and I'm scheduled to get it removed in March. Would it make a difference if I replace it with an IUD? Would having a more local release of hormones make a difference at all?

And how do different combinations of birth control hormones compare in how they treat endo?

I'm really curious about what the science of this is, so if you have a good website or article where they explain these sorts of things that'd be great!
