I have the nexplanon to try and help control my endo. I will go months without bleeding and then it comes out of nowhere for weeks at a time. I noticed it became better after my lap but about 6 months later it is back again. Seems like I can’t go anywhere without pads and tampons just in case. I’m scared to death because my wedding is Tuesday and is hate to bleed on my dress.
I had mine put in wrong and sat on the radial nerve and had to have it taken out within a week. I do not know if the significant worse abdominal pain would have gone away or if my serious anxiety and blood pressure shooting through the roof are the nexplannon or the incorrect positioning. I bled a ton on it...I think in totally over a 40 day time frame I bled 20 or more days! I only had it in a week but I continued to spot and have much worse pain for a while.
I am back on visanne after one month significantly less pain. First two days of period were actually really low pain and third fourth were worse. This is quite unusual but hope it sticks!
I kinda want to try it again but the high blood pressure makes me weary. For now I will just use the visanne and talk to my doctor more about it. Its prob safest not to ever take it again. but its hard to say.
The doctor thought my side effects were from incorrect placement alone however they told me before with depo that I couldn't POSSIBLY be experiencing bad side effects like mood changes and that was bs so I don't know...
I really do hope this helps people it is so convenient! I hope you find the support and answers you are looking for <3
I had it and it whas horrible my emotions where everywhere I had pain I bled allot I hate it.
I had nexplanon but it made my symptoms worse. I had 2 horrendous periods a month with severe cramping, so I had to have it removed after about 6 months. Congratulations on your wedding.
Yep I do I’m suffering now but the nexplanon was to only that kept symptoms at bay for the most part...
