Period Stopped And Vaginal Dryness Was Extreme While On Visanne. Anyone Had The Same Problem?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

i’ve been taking Visanne for like 6-7months already and i told my doctor that i wanted to stop cuz im having vaginal dryness and low libido and its kinda make me depress. I decided to stop after end of this month but like recently i got my libido back. and surprisingly the vaginal dryness isn’t that bad anymore! and i haven’t got my period in like 4 months but now i got a little bit of spotting out of no where. Is it something to worry abt??

Visanne actually works like that. While you are on medication you will get less or no period. Once you are off the medication you will get your period after like 10-15 days so I don't think there is… read more

Spotting While On Visanne
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been taking Visanne for 5 weeks now. My doctor said I would not get periods so I was not worried when my period did not come last month ( I always had regular menstruation).
Today, I had light spotting. I'm worried now. Did you experience this too?

Should I Continue To Take Lupron If I Still Have Constant Pain Everyday?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I continued to have constant pain after having Laproscopy in January. The pain may not be AS bad as before the surgery, but now I have new pain that I didn't have before. My doctor suggested take Lupron Depot since I was still experiencing pain. I took the 3 month dose in August and I'm still having constant pain daily. I'm scheduled to take another 3 month dose in a couple of weeks. Advise, please, ladies; should I take another shot of Lupron even though I'm still in pain??

Pad, Tampon, Cup?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

What feminine hygiene products do you use during your cycle? Most of us have heavy bleeding. Tampons get soaked through too quickly for me and make my cramps so much worse, and most pads irritate my skin. I use a menstural cup because it holds more than a tampon. I only have to empty it every 8 hours instead of every 2-4 with a tampon, depending on the day. But it makes my cramps pretty bad for a bit when I empty it.

I’ve been wearing period diapers and that helps at night. I wear heavy maxi organic pads during the day and change them every 2 hours or so

Umbilical Endo... Anyone Else?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello!

I have recently been told I have umbilical endo, unknown as yet where else it is yet and I also have dermoid cysts on and around my left ovary. I am starting Prostap injections today with add-back before looking at surgical options and just wondered if anyone else has it in their umbilicus?

Thanks

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

Hello! I also have a painful nodule growing out of my umbilical for about a year. It is quite large... it was mistaken as a hernia. Now that I've done my own research, I'm not sure how my family… read more
