What are some questions you asked your doctor? Or what are some questions you wished you would have asked but didn’t think about until later? I’m trying to make sure I cover all my bases. I’m drawing a complete blank!

What are we taking out, what are we not taking out, and generally how will we decide what action to take once we're in there. I also asked what if we go in and there's endo everywhere and it looks terrible. What if we go in and we see almost nothing. I wanted to be completely sure the doc and I were on the same page since he has to use his judgment and we didn't know exactly what he'd see.
I asked what an amazing outcome would be, a less amazing, and a terrible outcome. - this wasn't quite as helpful. Mostly generic answers. But I still felt good to ask it and cover all the bases.
In my case, the doctor wanted to do surgery at a surgery center and not a hospital - I had a bunch of questions about that.
I needed to know if I should keep taking my medicine - which suppresses endo, or if that would make it more difficult for them to see what was going on.
I wanted to understand what recovery would be like.

I also asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. Like what are you going to do if it’s everything. Or nothing.
Last lap I asked him to please take out as much of the CO2 as possible because those gas bubbles in your tummy kill for the next week.

Thank you!! That’s very helpful! I will write these down. I think my biggest fear right now is is him going in and not seeing anything and I still don’t have any answers. My surgery will be done at a hospital since his office is also in the hospital.
