My Obgyn has only prescribed pain pills- Vicodin and Percocet for my pelvic pains. I'm thinking about alternative medicine. I've heard Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can help with my Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. But I haven't heard any stories specifically linked with endo or adeno.
Hi Musical4ever,
I am currently doing acupuncture for management of pain for stage 4 endometriosis however I also take Serrapetase (not sure of spelling) to break down adhesions and pycnogenol for pain. I am on a gluten free diet and I limit my sugar, soy and diary intake to reduce inflammation. Jointly the above has greatly helped with my pain management. I was previously on TCM however for me specifically it was dropping my AMH therefore i was too afraid to take it as I still plan on having kids. I would really recommend acupuncture to anyone to manage their pain and reduce inflammation however bare in mind that it takes time to see results and does not work as quickly as a pain killer. Anyway I just wanted to leave my experience for you.
Hello, I do Acupuncture and some supplements for inflammation- green tea and turmeric. My TCM practitioner would like me to start supplements of Peony and Licorice as some evidence to support their use. I think the Progestin pill is what has helped me the most as well as Osteopathic tx and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
Hey Musical4ever
