Anyone Had The Prostap DCS And The Mirena Coil?
I had my laparoscopy (and clear diagnosis of endometriosis stage 1) and insertion of my coil at the beginning of July 2017. However, in November I ended up having excruciating pains again so got referred to a specialist. Finally had my appointment with him yesterday and told him about my concern for the return of my endometriosis and worry for surgery so soon after my last one. Hi I had the mirena coil for endometriosis and like you, the pain returned. Dr wants me to try Prostap too. Did you try it with the coil?
Wow. I've only had nausea, constantly up and down moods, issues with sleep and gone off food. Nothing too severe. I've booked in to see my doctor next Monday as she prescribed me propranolol because of stress with uni. Hopefully she'll be able to find something to help me through the mood swings 🤞
Mine were almost immediate
Oh sh*t. How long was it till the reactions to it started?
I have surgery once a year now. It is the only thing tha works for me. I dont do bc pills anymore cuz they never helped. I always refused lupron. The only reason i broke down and agreed to a one month shot was for ivf. It was a horrific month. My body hated lupron. I had severe migraines to where i had to go to the ER, hot flashes and insomnia where tolerable, and my body broke out in a horrific rash in certain spots. I had rashes on the back of my knees and my bikini line. My dr had to put me on steroids to get the rash to calm and go away.
I Had A Hysteroscopy D And C Endometrial Ablation And Mirena Coil Insertion On Wednesday. Anyone Else Have The Same
