Has anyone actually had this procedure done? Has anyone seen an endometriosis specialist i stead of just their gyno who happens to be a surgeon? Were they in your network? If not, how did you cope with the medical bills!?
Uggg sarah that sucks! Watch out for the 3rd trimester as well!! I had major endo pain due to change in hormones the 3rd tri
My ob/gyne who is an endo specialist as well did my surgeries
I'm now battling scar tissue pain on my left side with painful bowel movements at times and a complex cyst on my right ovary that appeared immediately after I stopped taking visanne. It is currently 4cm. I've been a bit concerned with how both will affect my pregnancy, the osteopath has been working on breaking up the scar tissue in my left side and the cyst there isn't much anyone can do at the moment. My family dr is going to make sure my OB knows about it when they refer me in a few weeks. The first couple weeks after I found out I was pregnant I had quite a bit of pain in my left side as the scar tissue began to stretch. One day it was so bad I could hardly walk.
Mainly on my left side and pouch of douglas, stage 4, it was deep infiltrating endo on my uteralsacral ligaments bilaterally. I had some on my right side as well but not as much as my left. 8-9cm endometrioma on my left ovary and my left ovary was wrapped around and embedded into the back of my uterus and one tube was blocked. My surgical report uses words like "significant" and "obliterated". They had a hard time following my ureters they were both tangled in it. My insides were a mess....
@Sarah87 where was your endo and stage?
